After a dazzling day with Cartier at the V&A, the second day of my recent trip to London focused on the grand new exhibition about the Edwardian era mounted by the Royal Collection Trust at the King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace.

My second day in London dawned bright and early, and thankfully, I’d managed to get a fairly normal night’s sleep, even with the time change factored in. That was crucial, because this was one of the big moments of the visit: the day of the press preview for the new Royal Collection Trust exhibition at the King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
